SF MEN’S BASKETBALL
Gainesville, FL – The nation’s leading scorer Bobby Hunter and the Santa Fe Saints host Florida State College-Jacksonville Wednesday, February 20 at 7:00 PM in the final regular season home game of the season. Should the Saints win they will clinch second place in the Mid-Florida Conference and host the MFC Tournament final Tuesday, February 26 at 7:00 PM with the winner of that game advancing on to the FCSAA State Tournament.
Hunter is closing in on the NJCAA scoring title and enters the game with a 25.9 points per game average, 2.9 more than second place Chris Jones (Northwest Florida State). The Saints (16-12, are hitting their stride late in the season and are currently riding a three game winning streak and defeated the FCSAA #1/NJCAA #5 College of Central Florida Patriots last Saturday 67-61.
