The next Cinema Verde Environmental Film & Arts Festival screening, “More Than Honey,” will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at Gators 4 Cinema in the Oaks Mall Plaza. The film attempts to discover the reason behind the mass disappearance of bees all around the world and how it can affect mankind.
Green Drinks will have free dinner on hand thanks to Macaroni Grill and Burrito Bros. at 6 p.m. There will also be a networking opportunity with various companies and organizations at this time. A few minutes before the film, there will be an auction featuring items from local sustainable businesses. These auctions are turning out to be a fun way to showcase local businesses and raise a few extra dollars for Cinema Verde.
