SF and Honors Certificate Graduates Erica Laboissoniere (F2012, Economics) and Sarah Power (F2012, Biological Engineering) were each selected to receive a $4000 Florida College Transfer Academic Scholarship to attend the University of Florida for two years, based on their selection to the 2013 All Florida Academic First Team, their outstanding academic performance at the community college level (and a kick-ass letter of recommendation from the SF Honors Coordinator). What’s remarkable is that UF awards only two of these scholarships annually!
Erica Laboissoniere was also accepted into the UF College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Honors Program!
SF and Honors Certificate Graduate Ellen Villafuerte (W2013, Journalism) was awarded a $4000 Hispanic Scholarship Fund—Wells Fargo Scholarship!
Joey Fricks was awarded the $1000 Henry H. Beck Scholarship from the SF College Foundation!
