Children’s Home Society of Florida is seeking dedicated, stylish, thriftin’ awesome students to actively participate in service learning at the Family Treasures Thrift Store, 710 N. Main Street (within a short walk of RTS#1,5,10). Volunteers gain valuable experience in sales, fashion merchandising and styling, marketing and public relations, retail, customer service, non-profit business management, and item inventory and organization in a unique non-profit program setting. Responsibilities of Thrift Store Volunteers include but are not limited to: fulfillment of child and family needs; development and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies; donation acceptance and processing; store organization; stock and inventory; and, preparation of pleasant, unique, and extraordinary shopping experiences to customers.
