Join us on, Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College for “Upon a Midnight Clear” at 7:00 PM and “Celestial Meditations” at 9:00 PM; both are concerts “under the stars” featuring songs of the holiday season with the live electronic music of world-renowned composer and artist Jonn Serrie.
“Upon a Midnight Clear” combines the lush, romantic and ethereal sound of Jonn Serrie with the melodies of the season, all under the beautiful starfield of the planetarium’s Goto Chronos space simulator.
“Celestial Meditations” is a holiday concert under the stars where relaxation and inward reflection are the order of the day. Audiences will sit back and relax under the stars as they listen to Jonn’s warm, peaceful and sensual tones with a guided meditation by Eric Morrow, owner/head trainer at Tool Shed Training. It is definitely an experience you’ll remember for years to come.
The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College is the first stop on his multi-planetarium concert tour this year, and we’d love for you to join us!
You may recognize some of Jonn Serrie’s music if you’ve visited the planetarium for our “Florida Skies” presentation on Friday nights. “Jonn’s music has delighted audiences around the world, and to have him perform Christmas music live in our planetarium is going to be a amazing experience.”, says planetarium coordinator, James C. Albury.
Here is an audio sample of a selection Mr. Serrie’s will perform during the performance:
