SF MEN’S BASKETBALL
New Port Richey, FL – The Santa Fe Saints won their tenth game in a row in style on Monday evening, defeating Pasco-Hernando CC by 49 points, 106-57. Five players scored in double figures and 11 players in all scored at least two points. Salim Gloyd led the balanced scoring effort with 19 points, including four three pointers.
The game was never in doubt as the FCSAA #3 Saints (10-0) took a 25-2 lead right from the outset and never looked back. They stretched the margin to 51-22 at the half and cruised to the 49 point win.
Reggie Hart finished with 18 points for SF, Chad Milliken had 12, Jonathan Hood scored 12, and Morris Marshall 10.
“This was a good road win for our guys,” said SF Coach Chris Mowry. “Now we have a week to prepare for two very tough games against Chipola and Gulf Coast. Those will both be real tests.”
The Saints will travel to Marianna for the Panhandle Shootout on December 6 and 7. They will battle home team and FCSAA #1 Chipola College on Friday at 7:00 PM EST and on Saturday take on #10 Gulf Coast State College at 3:00 PM EST.
