If you have not already done so, Cheryl and I would like to take one last opportunity to ask you to consider contributing to the College’s United Way campaign. Since funds are raised and invested locally to create lasting change, we can think of no better way for individuals and organizations to influence their community and make it a better place to live, learn and work.
Through the years, SF has had a strong record of helping the United Way meet the needs of our community. One of my favorite quotes is from Philo of Alexandria: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle.” The United Way is an organization that extends kindness and support to many individuals and families, many of whom are facing seemingly insurmountable problems.
Please consider completing the pledge card you received in October. Each and every contribution will help.
