On Saturday, April 5 from 5-8 p.m. Blue Oven will host the Low Country Boil Fundraiser to benefit North Central Florida’s non-profit kitchen incubator. Sponsored by Northwest Seafood, Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT), & Swamp Head Brewery, the event will feature live music by Jeffrey Forbes and Seaton Tarrant.
The fundraiser will be held at ACT’s Prairie Creek Lodge (7204 SE County Road 234) and advanced purchase tickets are required. Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults: $40 per person/$70 per couple
Children 13 and older: $40
Children 3-12: $20
Children under 3: free
Tickets include a space at the boil table; a Swamp Head Brewery glass with one fill of beer (for ticketholders 21 and over) and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages; and live music. A vegetarian boil will also be available; please indicate this preference at the time you make your ticket reservation. The main boil will include local vegetables, seafood, and pork sausage.
