Mentors needed for Take Stock in Children

Take Stock in Children is a non-profit program through the Alachua County Public Schools Education Foundation that is dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty through education.

Participating students receive a two-year scholarship at the end of their high school career after being paired and meeting regularly with a mentor who provides support, encouragement and guidance to succeed in school. Spend just one hour per week to make a difference in a young person’s life.

Applications can be found in the Building S lobby or at http://edfoundationac.org/take-stock-in-children/.
