Help Strike Out Hunger in Alachua County during the month of October by donating non-perishable foods, and contribute to The Long Foundation’s goal of 100,000 lbs of food for this year! Bright pink boxes can be found throughout the Northwest Campus and Blount Center for your convenience.
All food will be sorted and combined to make Thanksgiving baskets, children’s snack baskets, and also donated to local food pantries. Please donate even just a few items if possible.
If you do not have a donation box in your department or area, and would like one (or two!), please contact Nina Trombi at 352.395.7375 or nina.trombi@sfcollege.edu. There are plenty to go around!
All donation boxes should be dropped off in the lobby of the Administration building by 2:00pm on Friday, October 31. If you are unable to deliver the donation box and need assistance, please contact Nina Trombi.
