Harn Museum seeks entries from SF students for writing competition

The second edition of Words on Canvas, the Harn Museum’s writing competition, is open for submissions. Within every work of art is a story, a life and a spark of inspiration—what will you find?

We’re looking for your art-inspired writing based on a wide selection of works from the Harn’s collections. All UF and Santa Fe College students are welcome to submit by the deadline of Feb. 15. Prose submissions should be under 1,000 words long and poetry should be limited to 30 lines. Entry is simple and free of charge.

More information on the contest is available at the Harn front desk. To submit or see contest guidelines, check out our website (http://www.harn.ufl.edu/wordsoncanvas), or contact wordsoncanvas@harn.ufl.edu if you have questions.

Words on Canvas is an exciting way to combine visual art and the power of the written word. We’re looking forward to reading your work!
