Santa Fe College Police Department Awarded State Crime Prevention Unit of the Year

The Santa Fe College Police Department has been selected as the Crime Prevention Unit of the Year for 2015 by the Florida Crime Prevention Association.  The award was presented during the 46th Annual Training Conference Awards Banquet at the Hyatt Regency on Sarasota Bay on Thursday Oct. 22. Chief Ed Book, Sgt Mark Barley, and Officers Renee Lee and Mike Fannin received the award in Sarasota on behalf of all staff of the Police Department including the police officers, dispatchers, civilian staff, & VIPS student volunteers and work-study.
