The Santa Fe Saints were on the road Saturday for a non-conference double header against the State College of Florida in Bradenton where they split, dropping the first game 6-5 before winning game two 7-6.
In the first game the Saints (21-27, 7-13 MFC) took a lead into the bottom of the seventh but lost it in the final inning, falling 6-5. The second game was another high scoring game, but this time SF came out on top, leading the entire way for the 7-6 win. Chelsea Malcolm picked up the victory in relief of Paola Flores in the second half of the double header.
