Santa Fe College in FCSAA State Tournament MAY 15-21 In Lakeland

The Santa Fe Saints regained their NJCAA #1 national ranking on Wednesday, May 4 and will now move on to play in the FCSAA State Tournament as the top team in all the land. Every game takes place at Henley Field in Lakeland, FL.

First up is a date with Southern Conference runners-up Eastern Florida State College on May 15 at 7:00 PM. The winner of that game will move on to play on Tuesday, May 17 at 4:00 PM and the loser will play on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. The winner of the double elimination FCSAA tournament will advance to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 28 – June 4 at Suplizio Field.
SF enters the tournament as champions of the Mid-Florida Conference. Their sixth title in the last 10 years.

They finished 38-7 overall and 19-4 in MFC play, three games ahead of runners-up St. John’s River State College.

General admission for the tournament is $10 per day, or $25 for a week pass, good for all games.
