Hear ye! Hear ye! You are invited to attend the 4th annual Dental Hygiene Student Table Clinic Presentations on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. 12 p.m. in R-01, just around the corner from anywhere on the Northwest Campus! This year, our topics include the following:
3-D printing, photodynamic therapy and acupuncture in dentistry, dental erosion due to beverages we consume, common dental enamel conditions, effects of pool chlorine on swimmer’s teeth, concerns about germs in the bathroom on your toothbrush, effects of e-cigarettes on the oral cavity, a new fluoride formulation recently approved by the FDA for use in the dental office, the night life of tooth grinders, snorers, droolers and others, the interrelationship between periodontal and cardiovascular disease, and last but not least, “The Great Floss Debate”.
