Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe College Saints sophomore pitcher Robert Girgis was named the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Pitcher of the Week for his efforts during March 20-26. He had a 2-0 record with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances during the voting period.
Girgis tossed eight shutout innings in the SF Saints’ 6-0 win at Central Florida and followed that with six shutout innings in an 8-2 win over Seminole State.
For the week, he totaled 14 innings, allowing nine hits, no runs and three walks while striking out ten.
