Gainesville, Fla.— On Thursday, April 6, 2017, Santa Fe College will host its fourth annual Career and Technical Education Showcase. The showcase will feature SF’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs and the business partners that support those programs. Attendees can get information on which educational program they need to enter in order to align with the career they are interested in.

Business members will be on hand to speak with attendees one-on-one about what a career is like in their field of choice.

SF’s CTE Division prepares students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers upon graduation. CTE programs include Associate of Science degrees, certificate programs and apprenticeships. Curriculum is designed in collaboration with community partners to allow SF to tailor its programs to meet the needs of the changing job market.

The showcase will take place Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the Perry Center for Emerging Technologies, 14180 NW 119th Terrace, Alachua, FL 32615. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Monica Cabrera at 352-395-5973 or monica.cabrera@sfcollege.edu.
