February 20, 2018 – The Santa Fe College athletics department will honor 20 retiring SF faculty and staff at the home basketball games on February 21, recognizing them for their decades of service to the institution and its students. The 20 individuals will be retiring in 2018 and have a combined 414 years of service to the college.
Wednesday will also be Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Night at the SF Gym. Fans are encouraged to join the women’s basketball team in wearing pink to support those fighting cancer and to honor those we have lost.
All SF faculty and staff are invited to a hospitality room serving food and drinks, starting at 5:30 p.m. in V-16. At halftime of the women’s game (approximately 6:30 p.m.) we will honor all retirees in attendance. President Dr. Jackson Sasser and Athletics Director Jim Keites will present them with a token of our appreciation.
