March 13, 2018 – Santa Fe College’s fifth annual Career and Technical Showcase will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Gainesville. The showcase features SF’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and the business partners that support those programs. Attendees to the showcase can get information on the educational programs they will need to pursue their desired career path.
Business members will be on hand to speak with attendees one-on-one about what a career is like in their field of choice.
SF’s CTE programs prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers upon graduation. CTE programs include Associate in Science degrees, certificate programs and apprenticeships. The CTE curriculum is designed in collaboration with community partners to allow SF to tailor its programs to meet the needs of the changing job market.
The Career and Technical Showcase is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Monica Cabrera at 352-395-5973 or monica.cabrera@sfcollege.edu.
