March 13, 2018 – The Santa Fe College Brain Bowl team traveled to Chicago, IL March 1-4 to attend the NAQT Community College Championship Tournament (CCCT). The team consisting of Noah Bush, Renate Ferrante, Lourdes Guallpa, Mason Sexton, and Pablo Vega won 6 matches and lost 5, ending up in 11th place overall. The state of Florida was well-represented at the NAQT CCCT, making up half of all the teams attending, including tournament winner Valencia College.
SF’s Brain Bowl team will now travel to Marianna, Florida for the FCSAA Florida State Championship tournament March 16 – 17.
