SF Mathematics Participating in Plane Pull March 17

First Annual Plane Pull - March 17 at University Air Center

March 13, 2018 – The Santa Fe College Mathematics department is raising funds to participate as a team in the inaugural Plane Pull sponsored by the Red Shoe Society to benefit Ronald McDonald House.

The Plane Pull will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. at the University Air Center, 4701 NE 40th Terrace in Gainesville. During the competition, teams of 10 will try to pull an airplane. Teams are judged for distance as well as speed.

There is a donation box set up in the SF math department in Building P, Room 267.

Those wishing to attend the event and cheer for the SF Math department can purchase a viewing ticket for $5. The price of the ticket includes the opportunity to watch the competition, access to giveaways, discounted flights, and other activities within the hangar.
