SF’s Career and Technical Showcase April 5 at Mt. Carmel Baptist

April 4, 2018 – Santa Fe College will host the fifth annual Career and Technical Showcase Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Gainesville. The showcase features the college’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Attendees to the showcase will be able to get information on the educational programs they will need in order to pursue their desired career path.

The Gainesville Sun recently featured the showcase and the benefits it provides to the community.

Business members from the community will also be at the showcase to speak with attendees one-on-one about what a career is like in their field of choice.

CTE programs at SF prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers upon graduation. CTE programs include Associate in Science degrees, certificate programs and apprenticeships. The CTE curriculum is designed in collaboration with community partners, allowing SF to tailor its programs to meet the needs of the changing job market.

The CTE Showcase is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Monica Cabrera at 352-395-5973 or monica.cabrera@sfcollege.edu.
