Nominations for Career Service STAR Awards Due April 13

April 5, 2018 – Nominations for Santa Fe College Career Service STAR Awards are due Friday, April 13, 2018. STAR Awards are presented to full-time Career Service employees who have been in their current position a minimum of one year. This Career Service staff member would have made a valuable and appreciated impact within the Career Service Council, their department, or the college as a whole through interactions with students, faculty, and others or through contributions of innovative ideas, programs, policies or systems.

Ideal STAR candidates have exceptional performance in the areas of Service, Teamwork, Attitude, and Reliability (STAR). Additionally, the staff member would have consistently excelled in their position, made outstanding contributions to SF in the area of customer service, and be fully committed to the council and college community. STAR Career Service staff are dependable and trustworthy, as well as notable team-players who actively promote collaboration throughout Career Service and across campus working to improve the college, department, and division all while steadily keeping a positive and forward-thinking attitude.

If you would like to nominate a Career Service employee, forms are available on the STAR Award page of the SF website. All SF faculty and staff can nominate any Career Service Employee. Send submissions to csc@sfcollege.edu, or download, print, and send via campus mail to the Career Service Council Chair Jessica Brown.

All nominations must be received by the Friday, April 13 deadline.
