April 11, 2018 – The Santa Fe Saints 10-game winning streak has helped them earn the No. 1 spot in the national NJCAA poll. It’s the second time this season the Saints have been the top team nationally. SF is 33-6 on the season and 14-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference.
Freshman outfielder Andrew Eyster was honored by the FCSAA as Player of the Week. During the week of April 2-8, while the Saints went a perfect 4-0 and outscored their opponents 49-20, Eyster batted .579, going 11-for-19 with eight runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and 9 RBI.
The Saints will be in action this afternoon when they travel to Daytona for a 3 p.m. game against Daytona State College.
