April 19, 2018 – Santa Fe College Humanities and Foreign Languages Administrative Assistant, Sue Kulmacz, will be retiring after nearly 15 years of service to the college. Friends and colleagues are invited to S-29/30 from 10 a.m. until noon, Monday, April 23, for the retirement celebration.
Sue has been in the Humanities and Foreign Languages department since 2010. Prior to that position, she served in the same capacity in Child Development. She is proud of her two years of service on the Career Service Salary and Benefits Committee, but her biggest contribution to SF is likely the warmth, kindness, and compassion she has offered to everyone she has come into contact with at the college. She says her hardest job assignment will be “leaving her Santa Fe College family.”
In addition to spending even more time with her six grandchildren, Sue looks forward to near-term travel to Boston and California, as well as more trips a bit farther over the horizon with her sister. She plans to catch up on reading, get into yoga, and spend more time at the Hare Krishna temple. Her last day on campus will be Friday, April 27.
