May 14, 2018 – The Santa Fe Saints will resume their rain-suspended FCSAA Tournament game against Tallahassee Community College Monday, May 14. SF started the tournament with a 9-1 victory over Hillsborough Community College late Friday night but then lost Saturday to Chipola 4-1.
Weather only allowed one of the three games scheduled for Sunday to be completed. The Saints, who were in the second of the three games scheduled for the day, had their game suspended after six innings. SF was holding a 3-2 lead over Tallahassee CC.
Should the Saints hold on, they will play the winner of the game between the State College of Florida and Chipola, if they lose, their season will come to an end.
