May 16, 2018 – The Santa Fe Saints (39-11) baseball team completed their rain-shortened game from yesterday and found themselves on the losing end of a 9-8 decision to Chipola in the FCSAA Tournament in Lakeland.
SF led 8-4 going into the bottom of the ninth, before Chipola, the defending national champions, picked up a double, home run, double and walk with their first four batters en route to a 5 run bottom of the ninth.
Chipola will go on to face Hillsborough Community College in the tournament championship.
