First “Striking Down Stress” Session July 12

July 9, 2018 – The Santa Fe College Counseling Center wants to help SF students, faculty and staff learn how to deal with stressful situations. They are hosting a series of workshops this summer on “Striking Down Stress.” These one-hour sessions, held Thursdays in July and August from 1 – 2 p.m., focus on developing skills to navigate through stressful situations that come up during the course of the day. Sessions will be held at the SF Counseling Center, Building R, Room 227. Learn how to maintain composure in times of stress and anxiety.

The first session will be Thursday, July 12, on the topic of Mindfulness Skills. Other sessions include:

  • July 19, 1 – 2 p.m. De-stress!
  • July 26, 1 – 2 p.m. Emotional Resiliency
  • Aug. 2, 1 – 2 p.m. Cultivating Communication
  • Aug. 9, 1 – 2 p.m. Self-Care Skills
