Bo Diddley Exhibit at Santa Fe College Gallery Runs Through November 16

October 3, 2018 – The Santa Fe College Gallery is honored to host the exhibit, Bo Diddley – The Life and Times of Ellas McDaniel. The exhibit will run through Friday, November 16, in the gallery located in Building M, Room 147.

This truly unique and exciting exhibit features the creative works of Ellas “Bo Diddley” McDaniel. In addition to his career as a ground-breaking blues musician, Bo was a lifelong maker. Aside from the custom guitars he made, Diddley also made paintings, sculptures and ceramics. This exhibit is a collaboration with the McDaniel family, as well as, Scott Smith, a former guitar player with Diddley.

The Santa Fe College Gallery offers students and the Gainesville community a dynamic calendar of engaging and thought-provoking exhibitions with an emphasis on creating an innovative learning environment.
