November 1, 2018 – The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo announced the winner of the annual pumpkin carving contest. Rose Christy, in SF’s Office for Advancement, submitted a beautifully carved pumpkin topped with sparkly black hair. In addition to winning the contest, the pumpkin was the talk of the zoo as students and staff prepared the zoo for the annual Boo at the Zoo event.

For winning the contest, Rose won an encounter with the SF Teaching Zoo’s three Galapagos tortoises, Larry, Curly, and Moe.
