November 1, 2018 – Join Santa Fe College’s Veterans and Military Success Services, Civic Engagement and Service and the Collegiate Veterans Society Thursday, Nov. 8, for a special Veterans Day commemoration at the Lawrence W. Tyree Library.
The special event begins at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Kim S. Davis, Director of Alachua County Veterans Services. Starting at 11:30 a.m. there will be a panel of veterans representing military engagements from World War II to the present day.
Following the panel, there will be a reception with an exhibit curated by student veterans.
Veterans Day is Nov. 11, which falls on a Sunday this year, SF will be closed in observation of Veterans Day Monday, Nov. 12.
