December 3, 2018 – After weeks of fundraising, today is the day the Santa Fe College community will finally finds out whether it is Vice President of Advancement Chuck Clemons, of SF Student Body President Alejandro Puga getting a pie in the face.
Nearly a months-worth of Penny Wars pitted SF students against the staff is fundraising for the United Way of North Central Florida. At 3 p.m., in the Building S Breezeway, final results from Penny Wars will be announced, with the losing team’s representative taking a pie in the face.
There is still more time to make donations to SF’s United Way campaign this year, including the opportunity to win an iPad Mini. To be included in the SF iPad drawing, which will be held Friday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m., return your SF Payroll Deduction Donation Pledge Forms by Thursday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. to Ramona Mount in F-041. You should have received the United Way Pledge Form in your campus mailbox. If you need another Pledge Form, please go to Ramona’s office to complete this form and have it submitted on time to be included in the iPad drawing. Pledge Forms must be renewed each year for payroll deduction.
SF employees can also make one-time online donations on the secure United Way website at: https://www.unitedwayncfl.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=1. Please write “SF” in the “Notes” section to denote it’s for Santa Fe College’s United Way Campaign.
