January 25, 2019 – Santa Fe College’s Lawrence W. Tyree Library is providing SF faculty a trial to the streaming video service, Kanopy. This trial will last until Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, and may be accessed at https://sfcollege.libguides.com/kanopy. Users should log in with their Borrower ID (SF ID number) and PIN/Password (last four digits of SF ID number). For help with the Borrower ID/PIN, please call the Reference Desk at 352-395-5409. If you are asked for an access code, simply click the access code link.
Kanopy is a streaming video database that operates on a per title basis. Titles are selected and leased annually. Unlike other databases, the entire catalog is not available with a subscription. If adopted, the Library would need to work closely with faculty to choose titles based on their direct adoption within the curriculum, and to evaluate usage annually. During this trial, you will see all currently available titles.
