May 1, 2018 – Santa Fe College will be holding commencement ceremonies Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, 2019. The pinning ceremony for students graduating from the SF Nursing program will be Thursday, May 2, at 5 p.m. SF students earning bachelor’s degrees, A.S. or A.A.S. degrees and vocational certificates will have their ceremony Friday, May 3, at 3 p.m. All students receiving their A.A. will walk Friday, May 3, at 7 p.m.
Visitors coming to graduation should be advised that the doors to the SF Gymnasium will close 15 minutes before the start of each ceremony. Anyone arriving late will be directed to the SF Fine Arts Hall to watch the ceremony on video.
As a result of the ceremonies, a stretch of North Road will be closed near the SF Gymnasium. Parking lots 10 and 11, located by the SF Teaching Zoo and the SF Gymnasium, will be reserved for handicapped parking for visitors coming to graduation.
SF students, faculty and staff should allow for extra time traveling across the campus because of the increase in traffic in the area.
