Auditions for SF’s Production of “Into the Woods” Run Nov. 24 – 26

November 19, 2019 – Santa Fe College’s Fine Arts Department will present Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods” in the spring of 2020. In advance of the performances, there will be auditions held at the SF Fine Arts Hall Sunday, Nov. 24, beginning at 12:30 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 25 and 26, beginning at 3 p.m. both days. Students must be registered for TPP2231 upon casting for any of the 18 roles available.

Students interested in auditioning should be prepared to both sing and do cold readings from the script. Dance combinations will be taught as part of the audition. “Into the Woods” is a Tony-award winning musical featuring classic storybook characters brought together in a modern classic.

“Into the Woods” will run May 21 – 23 and May 28 – 30 in the Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall. Tickets are available online or by calling the SF Fine Arts Box Office at 352-395-4181.
