November 20, 2019 – Santa Fe College is winding down the annual United Way of North Central Florida fundraiser for the year, and a big thank you goes out to all the students, faculty and staff who gave their time, effort and money to support the cause.
As a reminder to everyone who completed a payroll deduction form, you will see those deductions beginning with your Jan. 15, 2020 paycheck.
Later this week, we will have information on the winners of the iPad and the Solano Scooter, but later this afternoon, we will get the final results of Penny Wars and will see if it is SF Student Body President Kate Santacruz or associate director of Student Life Doug Bagby getting a pie in the face.
The pie-in-the-face will occur this afternoon at 4 p.m. over by Freedom pond, the SF Bookstore and Building S. For those of you keeping score, the staff has defeated the students in Penny Wars the last two years. In 2018, it was then-president Alejandro Puga getting pied by Vice President for Advancement Chuck Clemons. In 2017, it was Cale McCall, also the then-student body president getting pied by Doug Bagby.
