July 27, 2020 – The Florida-Caribbean Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence is proud to announce our second Professional Development Virtual Series “Cultural Competency and Inclusion.”
This four-part series will be facilitated by Dr. Miguel Hernandez, of the University of California Irvine, via Zoom. It will give faculty, staff and administrators the opportunity to (re)think cultural and institutional socialization, social justice, advocacy and activism in higher education, in order to create inclusive educational experiences for all students. The series begins with an introduction on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
