Spring Speaker Event Features Discussion on Music, Dance and the Enlightenment

March 15, 2021 – Santa Fe College’s Research in Undergraduate Education continues its Spring Speaker Series Wednesday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. with Dr. Michael Vincent presenting a lecture – “ Music and Regional Dances in the Enlightenment”. Dr. Vincent will discuss how eighteenth-century music imitated regional dances. Focusing on Italian composer Luigi Boccherini and show how his regional dances symbolized people during the enlightenment..
