March 16, 2021 – Current Santa Fe College Students who are planning on taking classes in the summer or fall can take advantage of the opportunity presented during Preferred Registration Week March 22-26, 2021.
Currently enrolled students will be able to register before incoming students for all summer and fall term classes. By taking part in Preferred Registration Week, students will get the greatest option of classes, times and instructors before the entire summer and fall course list is available to new enrolled students.
This can be especially valuable for students who need prerequisite courses, as well as students who prefer on-campus or online courses. Students who are only a class or two short of graduation can also pick up the courses they need during preferred registration. Preferred Registration gives current SF students the best opportunity to get the classes when, where and how they would like to take them.
SF faculty should make sure students in their classes are aware of the opportunity and should encourage students to sign up for the classes they want to take in the summer and fall during preferred registration. Students should also be made aware that even if they sign up for classes during Preferred Registration Week, they will not need to pay tuition and fees when they register. A due date for tuition and fees is below.
