Producing accessible PDF documents can be challenging if considerations are not made when documents are first created. In this session, Lyssa Prince, ICT Accessibility Coordinator with Oklahoma ABLE Tech, will discuss how PDFs are generated and what to keep in mind in each case—whether the document comes from a Microsoft Word conversion or from a scanned document. She’ll also cover the main aspects of PDF accessibility, including the Tag Tree and reading order, and we’ll learn how PDF accessibility begins in the source document.
