May 5, 2021 – C. Michael (Mike) Curry is retiring from Santa Fe College after 31 years of dedicated service. Mike Curry, Associate Vice President in the Office of Advancement, has served Santa Fe College since July 1990. His official retirement date is May 31, 2021.
Mike has served his SF career within the Office of Advancement and SF Foundation, Inc, formally known as the Development Office and SFCC Endowment Corporation. During this time, he has held many positions that include Assistant Treasurer, Coordinator of Development Activities, Director of Development Services, Assistant Vice President, and lastly Associate Vice President.
Over the years Mike has worked closely with various donors and the SF Foundation directors. Chuck Clemons, Vice President for Advancement, said, “Mike Curry’s experience, integrity and creativity has been instrumental in the success of our Foundation. He has dedicated more than three decades of his professional career to raising funds to assist our students in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations. Thousands of students have benefitted because of the joy that Mike found in our mission.”
Mike will be enjoying time with his family during his retirement. The Advancement office will definitely miss him but wish him well in the next chapter of his life.
