May 14, 2021 – Santa Fe College Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Ed Bonahue has been selected to be the next president of Suffolk County Community College on Long Island, New York. Before he leaves, the college community is invited to a farewell celebration for his 23 years of dedicated service to the college.
The celebration will be Wednesday, June 9, from 2-4 p.m. at the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall. In addition to giving the SF family the opportunity to gather (all college safety protocols in place), there will also be speeches from President Broadie, members of Executive Leadership, academic chairs and those who worked with the provost during his nearly quarter-century at SF.
Additional details will be announced as the date comes closer, but mark your calendars for June 9, and wish the provost well before he heads off for this incredible and well-deserved opportunity.
