SF students, faculty, and staff sponsored all 50 children in our annual gift drive for local foster youth with Partnership for Strong Families. You can see all of our SF sponsors here.
For anyone who would still like to donate, PFSF is accepting financial donations or donations of new toys from their Amazon Wishlist. These donations help provide gifts for children who come into care in December when they don’t have time to match them up with sponsors.
Each year, Partnership for Strong Families works with community partners and donors to provide holiday “wishes” to over 1,200 local children in foster care. Wish Upon a Star offers an opportunity to add some joy to their holiday.
SF Groups, individuals, and families are invited to sponsor one of the stars listed here. Each star includes information about a child and three of their wishes. Sponsors agree to purchase at least two of the three items (around $50 total).
To sign up, e-mail sarah.blanc@sfcollege.edu the name and Wish ID number of the star(s) you’d like to sponsor. Let us know if you’re sponsoring the wish on behalf of your family, an organization, or if you wish to remain anonymous. We’ll send you a confirmation message with your star attached and a couple follow-up reminders.
Donations should be unwrapped (volunteers will take care of this, and wrapping supply donations are encouraged) with stars securely attached to each gift. Please drop off donations by Monday, November 29 at 4 p.m in S-135 on SF’s Northwest campus.
