March 22, 2022 – Dr. Andrea Evangelist, Santa Fe College’s Director of A.A. Advising and the Career Exploration Center, was awarded Old Dominion University’s Outstanding Doctoral Student – Community College Leadership – Poindexter Award for the 2021-22 academic year. She was selected by the faculty to be recognized with this award that celebrates a graduating CCL Ph.D. student who exemplifies the values of mentorship, scholarship, leadership and service of Erika Poindexter in their contribution to the program, university and profession.
“Dr. Evangelist’s commitment to student success is evident in the leadership and service that she provides our students,” SF Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Naima Brown said. “I am impressed, but not surprised that she received this recognition while earning her doctoral degree.”
