Summer Camp Counselor
Sun Country Sports Center® is seeking outgoing, high-energy Summer Camp Counselors! Sports, coaching and/or education experience preferred. Must love working with children (experience required).
Summer Camp positions require a commitment to work regular weekly hours from May 31st through August 5th and availability to train over a couple weekends in May. Applicants who plan to take full-week or longer vacations are not eligible and need not apply. Most counselors work 20-30 hours per week in a combination of mornings, afternoons and/or full days. Additional hours may be available in other departments depending on skills and qualifications.
The Summer Camp Counselor position involves leading activities with children here in our 40,000 sq. ft. facility. All training is provided, and activities may include basic gymnastics skills, group games, various sports, free swimming, rock climbing, board games, art, field trips, and more. We are a multi-program family/youth sports center whose mission is for every person to feel better about themselves when they walk out of our doors than when they walk in.
A fingerprint background screen is required for all employees.

Compensation: $10.00 – $14.00 per hour

Gymnastics Coach
Are you looking for a fun and friendly work atmosphere where you can be active and have fun with kids? Sun Country Sports Center® is hiring coaches for our Recreational Gymnastics Program at our West location near Tioga! Preschool and/or recreational coaching experience is preferred, but training in gymnastics or tumbling will be considered in your qualifications. All positions require a great deal of enthusiasm and energy for spotting the necessary events, a love for working with children, and excellent communication and teaching skills. We expect a strong commitment to the schedule of classes to minimize coaching changes. We are committed to a raised standard and high expectations in all aspects of our programs, and are looking for coaches who are eager to learn and work together as a member of a team to help maximize the potential of our students.
Coaching positions are part-time, afternoons and early evenings. This position is approximately 12-18 hours per week. To be considered, applicants must be available at least 2-3 afternoons/evenings per week. Weekend hours may be available as well.
