September 12, 2022 – Last Monday, Santa Fe College students, faculty and staff joined with Sustainable Santa Fe to help clean up Gainesville. After connecting with the City of Gainesville, a group of 34 from SF gathered on Labor Day to help clean up a section of Waldo Raod from 39th Avenue to University Avenue.
After a few hours of work, they collected seven large bags of trash and another 6 bags of recyclables. There are currently plans in the works for another clean-up effort next semester.
