SF Offering Safety and Civility Professional Development

December 12, 2022 – Santa Fe College offers Safety and Civility professional development for offices across the college. The training, developed by SF’s Counseling Center, Safety and Risk Management, Title IX office and the SFPD, teaches employees tips on de-escalation, provides information on how to address individuals with concerns or complaints, and offers ideas on making office spaces safer.

The in-person training lasts about 90 minutes with an optional “office walk-through” afterward and includes a few videos to watch in advance.

A certificate is provided to all those who complete for personnel files.

To schedule a training session, contact Ed Book, Marian Nesbitt, Ryan Woods or Lara Zwilling and provide a few dates and times your office will be available for the training. Once a time is selected, the training team will visit your office.
