January 24, 2023— Santa Fe College’s Perry Center for Emerging Technologies will be the focus of a UF Innovate Breakfast Familiarization Seminar Thursday, Jan. 26, from 8:30–10:00 a.m. at UF Innovate in the Sid Martin Biotech, Hutchinson Training Room. Speakers will include Mary El-Semarani, Academic Chair for Emerging Technologies at the Perry Center and Sari Sanborn, the Academic Specialist for SF.
The seminar, entitled Perry Center Impact on Alachua’s Biotechnology Ecosystem, highlights the Perry Center’s impact on region and will discuss outreach efforts, critical need programs, workforce development, hands-on training opportunities, as well as degree options and the overall job outlook in biotechnology.
