SF Brain Bowl Team to Compete in Championship

February 13, 2023—The Santa Fe College Brain Bowl team’s competitive season is on a roll this year. Brain Bowl is a competitive academic activity in which teams of four students compete by answering questions about all academic subjects.

In January, the SF Brain Bowl team qualified for the NAQT community college championship tournament, for which Matthew Andersen, Chloe Campbell, Griffin Lora, Nikhita Meier, and Thomas Olinger will travel with coach Asha Brunings to Chicago on February 23.

On February 11, Matthew, Chloe, Nikhita, and Thomas took the team to first place in the Florida East Central Regional Championship. They will compete in the FCSAA Florida State Championship Tournament, which will be held at the SF Blount Center March 24-25.
