June 13, 2022 – Santa Fe College will present the board-approved 2023-2024 budget to the college community Wednesday, June 21, at 2 p.m. Immediately following the presentation, there will be a brief Q&A session to address the details from the presentation. President Broadie encourages all faculty and staff to watch the presentation as your schedule allows. For those who cannot watch it live, a recording will be made available.
The operating budget for the college is primarily based on funding through tuition from students and funding allocated by the state legislature. Over the last several months, departments across the college have presented their proposed budgets for the coming fiscal year for consideration. The budget process also considers recommendations from shared governance to address the needs of the college as a whole and alignment with the college’s mission and strategic plan.
